SOMONT is specialized in development and production of high-speed soldering systems for solar cells. Our RAPID stringer connects cells to strings in varying lengths (up to 2.000 mm).
After the soldering process, our lay-up stations provide precise positioning of the strings on the EVA glassplate sandwich. The interconnection of the strings can take place at manual working stations or via a fully automated interconnection. Thereafter they are ready for the further process steps such as lamination. Our machines are state-of-the-art and offer with up to 2.400 cells per hour ­highest performance. Even most sensitive cells with different manufacturer s­pecifications can be handled with lowest breakage rates.
Performance classes of RAPID:
RAPID ONE (600 cells per hour, 10 MW per year)
RAPID TWO (1.200 cells per hour, 20 MW per year)
RAPID FOUR (2.400 cells per hour, 40 MW per year)

In cooperation with our sister companies we deliver also turn-key module lines.
